Ivy Fangyu Lin

Ivy Fangyu Lin is a dentist, educator, and sustainability champion within the dental community. In 2022, she completed her Master of Public Health at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where she focused on health policy and climate action. Ivy is incredibly passionate about decreasing waste and greenhouse gas emissions in the healthcare sector, and she is raising awareness about the issue within the dental community through conference speaking and graduate education. In her role as an assistant professor at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, she founded the Climate Action and Sustainability Team which has become a national leader in dental climate action and research.

As the Communications Deputy Director at the Harvard Alumni in Climate and the Environment, Ivy is excited about connecting brilliant minds to share ideas and to work towards making Earth a safer, cleaner and more hopeful planet.

Ivy grew up in Montreal, Canada and is currently based out of Seattle, WA. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling and karaoke. Also, ask her for restaurant recommendations any time!
